About the Blaine Scholarship Foundation
The Blaine Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization devoted to the continued education of graduating seniors from Blaine High School in Blaine, WA.
In 1995 Bill Wright was given some information pertaining to the “Dollars for Scholars” program and asked to get the program off the ground and up and running in the Blaine School District. People from the community jumped on board and history was made. In 1998 we had our initial fundraising golf tournament. Every year the tournament has grown larger and larger. In our 25 plus year history we have awarded over $492,000.00 in scholarships to deserving seniors. In 2016 we became the “Blaine Scholarship Foundation.” 2025 marked our 27th annual golf tournament. Our board members and a very supportive community have made the Blaine Scholarship Foundation a huge success.
