“I am writing this email in thanks and appreciation for the scholarship that you awarded to me. I am grateful for the help this will give to funding my future education. In the fall, I plan to attend Bellingham Technical College to complete their CNA program.
Since I will not be able to gain clinical experience hours before the application deadline to the nursing program, I will have to wait until the next application process in July of 2023. I will use the time until then (after obtaining my CNA certificate) to put in the clinical hours needed to apply to their nursing program for the following school year.
Due to this, I wanted you to be aware that I am continuing my schooling with the end goal of earning my Bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse (hopefully at Western Washington University) and eventually finishing my education to become a nurse practitioner.
So, please let me know if there’s anything I need to do in the meantime to keep you informed for when I do register for the nursing program and if there is any additional information that you need from me.
